What it is
Stat Lab reads the week, prints a number where it has one, and prints PASS where it does not. Scout is the free board. Pro is the desk. Most of the board is a PASS most weeks. That is the point — a desk that has an opinion on everything has an opinion on nothing.
Every number is scored against what actually happened, on weeks the fit never saw, and the score stays up whether it flatters us or not.
Who makes it
Stat Lab is built and run by xTyr LLC. It is a small, independent shop: no newsroom, no floor of touts, no partnerships with anyone who takes the other side of a ticket. You will not find a wall of smiling analysts on this page, because there are none to show you.
The graded record
Nothing gets deleted when it misses. The whole record — how close the printed probabilities came to the real hit rate, season by season, plus every paper call that has settled so far — is public and lives on one page.
